How It Works for Clients

Describe your injury in your own words. The AI asks targeted follow-up questions about what happened, who was at fault, and what damages you suffered. After a few exchanges you receive:

How It Works for Law Firms

NYCInjury.ai operates a lead marketplace for personal injury law firms. Every client conversation is evaluated by the AI across five dimensions — liability, damages, statute of limitations, evidence quality, and collectibility — and assigned a quality score. High-scoring leads go to a live auction; firms bid for the right to contact the client. Lower-tier leads are delivered directly at a flat rate.

Firms set their own practice profile — which case types they handle, their service area, and their contact — so they only receive leads that match their practice.

The Technology

NYCInjury.ai is built on OpenAI's GPT-4o for conversational AI and case analysis, and pulls real recent court decisions from CourtListener — a free legal research database maintained by the Free Law Project — to ground every response in actual New York case law.

Professor Mode

NYCInjury.ai also includes a gamified Socratic training tool for law firm intake staff. Using real CourtListener cases as teaching scenarios, AI Professor Marcus Webb drills paralegals, intake coordinators, and legal assistants on personal injury doctrine — duty, breach, causation, damages, defenses — through structured Socratic dialogue. Staff earn XP, unlock badges, and advance through levels from 1L to Associate.
